The Piedmont Police Department exists to provide protection, prevention, deterrence, service, and accountability to the community by equally enforcing federal, city, and state laws, by providing community-oriented police services and programs, by conducting thorough investigations of crimes, by presenting a true example of honorable character, and by improving police services through self-development and training.
